A multi bet is a bet type whereby the bettor can combine a series of single bets into one bet with the odds multiplying with each additional bet. Each time a leg is successful, the dividend and original bet from that leg are bet on the next leg. The more legs in a multi bet the larger the dividend will be. A multi bet can combine different types of bets, for example a margin bet can be combined with a simple fixed odds bet.
Some bookmakers have restrictions on how many legs bettors can include in the one Multi Bet. If a 15-leg multi bet is successful the payout could be huge and bigger than the bookie is prepared to take on. Generally, the large bookmakers will have no trouble acceptong a 14 leg multi bet. This is where many draw the limit. Some bookmakers like Luxbet offer 20 leg multi bets.
The example shows a 5 leg multi bet where the bettor picks 5 different matches with different odds and combines them into the one bet. The odds multiply with each successful leg making multi bets very powerful. In this example, if successful, a $100 multi bet would payout over $6,000.
